This camera suffers the usual faith with all its other brethren the shutter blade/leaf has issues. I can cock the film advance and fire but the shutter does not snap back up. 

If you can find the time to repair it or get it a shop. You are going to be happy as this camera is in great condition.

This is one of the must-haves SLR in the Minolta range. This XD-S was only available in Japan and only in black. 

If you are to buy a Minolta SLR the XD-s, XD5 and XD11 are the much sort after. Or you can modern up to the X-700.
